SOIFEE 2026 in Fianarantsoa: A Look Back at the 19th Edition!

The 19th edition of SOIFEE 2026, organized by CEDII in collaboration with key academic partners such as EMIT, EGSS, ENI, ESSG, FDSP, and MIEL (Malagasy Indo Educational Link), brought together prominent educational leaders and industry experts to empower the youth of Fianarantsoa. The event commenced on August 19, 2026, with an inaugural keynote from Prof. Aimé Richard HAJALALAINA, President of the Université de Fianarantsoa, who highlighted sustainable employment and entrepreneurship. This was followed by an insightful session by Prof. Hasina RAKOTONIRAINY, Director of EMIT, on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in higher education.

The subsequent days focused heavily on practical career preparation, global mobility, and post-baccalaureate pathways. On August 20, Ms. MIFAMENO ANDRIAMASY presented valuable insights on international opportunities for studying and working in China, while NGO PIVOT’s HR Officer, Ms. Laura Raissa VOLAMAZAVA, provided essential job-readiness skills, including resume mastery and interview preparation. Concurrently, Ms. Jemima Herma RAZAFITSIFERANA detailed academic options and professional outcomes at ENS Fianarantsoa.

To conclude the conference series on August 21, ESSG lecturers Mmes. Elisa Thérèse Baovola Rafanoharana and Joela NIRILANTO guided future graduates through crucial decision-making processes, focusing on emerging sectors in territorial development, the digital economy, and new technologies. Thanks to the collective commitment of its speakers, sponsors, and institutional partners, SOIFEE 2026 successfully established a comprehensive platform designed to unlock future career and academic paths for Malagasy students.
